Situated near the Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, China is the magnificent Genghis Khan's Mausoleum. The Mongols revere Genghis Khan because he was well-known for his fearless bravery and military triumphs. The Mausoleum has three massive halls that are unusually shaped like Mongolian yurts (ethnic abodes). In the center of the Main Hall is a 4-meters tall white marble statue of Genghis Khan. Other exhibits include a large map showing the expanse of the Yuan Dynasty and beautiful frescoes.
