Badachu Park (Eight Great Sites Park)

The Badachu Park on the outskirts of Beijing is also known as the Eight Great Sites Park because it has eight of the most important temples of China. They are the Chang'an Temple, Sanshan Nunnery, Lingguang Temple, Longquan Nunnery, Dabei Temple, Baozhu Temple, Xiangjie Temple, and Zhengguo Temple. These temples are spread over the Pingpo, Lushi, and Cuiwei hills and are connected to each other via valleys, pavilions, and gardens. The Seal Valley in the Park has hundreds of imperial seals arranged in chronically order. The Moya Valley has numerous Ming Dynasty Buddha sculptures that are worth seeing. Visitors can explore the Park at leisure using the cable cars.
