Beijing Art Museum

With an amazingly large collection of 100,000 artworks, the Beijing Art Museum is definitely worth a couple of visits to absorb its grandeur. There are innumerable pieces by ancient Chinese master artists like Xu Beihong, Qi Baishi, and Wu Guanzhong. The artworks are displayed in separate zones by categories like traditional Chinese art, sculptures, oil paintings, picture story art, prints, caricature art, watercolors, lacquer art, porcelain collection, ancient costumes, etc. There is also an International collection, which includes four Picassos. The architecture of the building and the golden glazed roof are as impressive as the collection itself.
