Cuandixia

Just 56Kms from downtown Beijing is the beautiful and ancient Cuandixia village. It is a major tourist attraction because it has many unique features. The villagers follow ancient folk customs and traditions. The village itself has been designed according to Chinese Feng Shui, which states that a village must have a protective mountain behind it. This village has the Longtou Mountain in the background. From the top of the mountain, the village looks like an ox, including its internal organs. Today, only 29 families are living in the village. Despite the primitive surroundings and simplicity of the place, the village is still a popular tourist site.
