Fragrant Hills Park

The 12th century Fragrant Hills Park lies just 28Kms from Beijing, China. It is made up of hillocks and forests spread over an area of 162 hectares. Both nature’s bounties and cultural relics blend in with each other to form the most beautiful scene in the world. There are mountain peaks around the Park and many popular temples too. In the autumn season when the maple leaves turn a bright red, the entire park looks like a red carpet. In fact, the entire mountain is covered in red leaves and thousands of tourists visit the site each year in October-November. Cable cars are available so that visitors can enjoy the spectacular scenery.
