Yanqi Lake

If you are traveling in Beijing with kids you must never miss the Yanqi Lake that is situated about 60Kms from the city center. It is the perfect place for children to enjoy a great time outdoors, especially in the spring and autumn seasons. The area around the Lake has the Science Garden, Water Amusement Garden, Wild Animal Garden, speed boats, dragon boats, bungee jumping, skiing, rock climbing, and other recreational facilities. There are also various camping sites and cabin lodges where tourists can stay.
