Well-known for the annual Chrysanthemum Show, the People's Park is situated in Chengdu, China. This festival is hosted in the winter season when nearly 200,000 pots with more than 1,000 varieties of chrysanthemums are on display. The People’s Park covers a vast area of 112,639 square meters. The park also has an artificial lake, numerous landscaped gardens, and teahouses. Another attraction in the Park is the Rockery Square where you can watch live performances by the local ethnic groups. The Orchid Garden, Gold Water Stream, Potted Landscape Garden, and the Goldfish Island are also very beautiful. The Park has a children’s playground with kid’s scooters and merry-go-rounds.
