Huangze Temple

Built in the honor of Wu Zetian the only Chinese Empress, the Huangze Temple is a unique tourist attraction and a well-preserved national relic. It is located in Guangyuan, Sichuan Province, China. Built 1,500 years ago, the temple complex has beautiful grottoes of the Sui and Tang Dynasties. The buildings include the Zetian Hall, Lvzu Tower, Ersheng Hall (Two Saints), Great Buddha Building, and the Five Buddha Pavilion. The best time to visit is on 23rd January as per the Chinese calendar when the temple celebrates the Empress’ birthday. There are many enjoyable tourist activities including boat races on the Wulong Pond.
