Mausoleum of the Nanyue King

Situated in Guangzhou, China is the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King. It is an attractive multi-colored stone tomb built for Zhao Mo, the second king of the Nanyue Kingdom. His four wives and fifteen servants are also buried here to serve the king after life. The tomb is located 20 meters under the ground and is made up of 750 large stones that have colorful murals. The Mausoleum also has a large collection of ancient artifacts made with iron, gold, copper, silver, lead, jade, ceramic, fiber, wood, carnelian, crystals, leather, etc. The king’s shroud is made with jade ornaments and silk shroud. There are also unusual relics like poultry, livestock, Chinese medicines, and marine products.
