Baoshi Shan (Baoshi Hill)

Located in the north of the West Lake Scenic Area, Hangzhou, China the Baoshi Shan (Precious Stone Hill) has magnificent views. There are many paths that lead from different sections of the Lake towards Baoshi Shan. Hence, it is a very popular attraction for hiking, trekking, climbing, and other adventure sports activities. The hill has caves along the paths that are Taoist or Buddhist shrines. It is worth going to the top because you will get the best panoramic view of the Lake, valleys, peaks, and the forests that surround the hill. This site has been the subject of many classic Chinese paintings over the centuries. Cable cars are available.
