Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln Museum

To see the best examples of porcelain and pottery from the Song Dynasty era the Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln Museum is the perfect place. Located near West Lake, Hangzhou, China the Museum has three exhibition halls. The first hall has 8,000 ancient chinaware relics that were found in the Hangzhou region. These are considered the most delicate and exquisite pieces from the Song Dynasty. The second section has exhibits on the history of ceramics in China, the establishment of state kilns, and their impact on the local economy. In the third hall you can see potters at work.
