Yanguan Tidal Wave Watching Pavilion, Hangzhou, China is one of the three best vantage points to see tidal waves. The rotation of the Earth and the strange bottleneck shape of the Hangzhou Bay allow the Qiantang River waters to enter the Bay but difficult for the waters to subside. This phenomenon causes the massive 9-meters tall tidal waves which are an impressive sight. Tourists from all over the world come and stay in the region during the Tidal Wave Watching Festival in mid-autumn season. The Pavilion has all the necessary amenities like proximity to affordable hotels, convenient public transport, seating arrangements, refreshment stalls, souvenir shops, and more.
