The locals say that once you have tasted the Longjing Tea made with the waters of the Tiger Running Dream Spring (Hupao Spring), you will never like any other tea! The spring is located at the foot of the Daci Hill (Great Compassion Hill) near Hangzhou, China and is part of the Tiger Running Spring Forest Park. Near the spring is the Daci Temple built during the Tang Dynasty. The temple also has a Li Shutong Memorial built in honor of a Chinese scholar who was famous for his exemplary work in drama, music, calligraphy, and painting; who later renounced everything and took up Buddhism at the Daci Temple.
