The Sun Island Park is the most popular tourist attraction in Harbin, China. It is such a vast area, that part of it forms the Siberian Tiger Park which is a tiger reserve. The Park has many recreational facilities as well. The Songhua River flows through the Park where boating is a popular activity. Another section is dedicated to the second largest ice and snow sculpture annual event in China. In 2007, a 3D ice sculpture with a height of 270 meters had won the world record as the largest snow sculpture. Considering all that the Park has to offer tourists, it is little wonder that there are visitors from across the globe coming here all year round.
