Tourists comes in large numbers to visit the Hohhot Great Lamasery (Da Zhao) or Dazhao Lamasery in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. This grand palace has beautiful sculptures, wall frescos, ancient Chinese scriptures, and other exhibits belonging to the Ming and Qing dynasties. The statue of Buddha is considered the largest silver statue of Sakyamuni in the world. There are two uniquely artistic 10 meters tall dragon sculptures that is worth seeing because they are designed to look like they are circling in the air above. Although 100s of years old, the colors of the fresco are bright and clear.
