The Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic Area, Sichuan Province, China is a “Y” shaped three-valley area surrounded by tall peaks, waterfalls, lakes, and dense forests. The southern branch of the “Y” shape is the picturesque Rize Valley that has an abundance of natural beauty. Its Yuanshi Senlin is the natural habitat of the snub-nosed monkey. At the Swan Lake in the valley, you will get to see many migratory birds like swans, geese, and ducks. The lakeside is surrounded by bamboo forests which are the natural breeding ground of giant pandas. Other places of interest include lakes like the Golden Bell, Mirror, Five Flower, etc. The Peacock Riverside and the Zhenzhu Tan Pearl Shoals & Waterfall are also splendid sights.
