Located near Kaifeng City, China the Longting Park covers an area of 83 hectares and has two massive ponds. Also called the Dragon Pavilion Park, its main building has suffered various forms of devastation over many centuries. Today, the park is made of the large water bodies, called the Panjia Hu and Yangjia Hu ponds. The two ponds are separated by a narrow strip of land and connected by beautiful stone bridges. The Park is the main venue for the annual Kaifeng Chrysanthemum Show which goes on for a month between 18th October and 18th November. The Park also has a Wax Museum depicting prominent citizens of the Song Dynasty.
