Moxi Town

The Moxi Town is located in the Luding County of Garze Tibetan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China. It is a tourist attraction that lies close to the scenic areas of Hailuogou Glacier Forest Park and Mount Gongga. The townsfolk are a mix of the Yi, Han, and Tibetan nationalities, who have lived together in harmony since the Qing Dynasty reign. The Moxi Catholic Church in the town has a religious significance as well as a historical one. It was the place where the Red Army had stayed on entering the Garze Province. Moxi Town is also the site of the Luding Bridge from where the Hailuogou Park starts.
