In the cold weather of Tibet, natural hot springs are a great tourist attraction. This is also true of the Yangpachen, which covers a large area of 40 square kilometers and is situated approximately 87Kms away from Lhasa City. The hot springs have an abundance of geothermic heat and hydrogen sulfide that has immense therapeutic properties. People visit this site from all over the world to experience its healing aspects and to see the picturesque natural landscape. Although the other regions are covered with ice for half the year, the area surrounding the hot springs have perennial lush grasslands. For the benefit of tourists, the government has set up two large swimming pools here, so why wait?
