With scenery like the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a colorful meadow, a perennial river, and a dense forest, the Yufeng Lamasery (temple) is endowed with picturesque surroundings. First built during the Qing Dynasty, this lamasery is 13Kms from Lijiang, China. The architecture of the lamasery is very unique because it reflects the designing styles of Han, Tibetan, Taoist, and the Naxi ethnic group. The best time to visit this attraction is in the spring and summer seasons when the camellia trees are in full bloom, looking like a beautiful flame-colored carpet. This attraction is a treasure for naturalists, photographers, trekkers, and campers.
