Zijin Shan (Purple Gold Mountain)

Zijin Shan is one of the most popular mountains in South China. It spreads over 12 square miles and offers numerous cultural and historical attractions. The most famous site is the Xiaoling Mausoleum which UNESCO regards as a World Cultural Heritage Site. The mausoleum is one of the locations that keep the memory of times during Ming Dynasty.

Other attractions in the Purple Gold Mountain include Plum Blossom Hill and Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum dedicated to the Father of China Republic. Tourists can also visit the Open Air Music Hall, Meiling Palace, and Linggu Temple, or enjoy the impressive scenery throughout the mountain.
