Yarlung Tsangpo River

The Yarlung Tsangpo River in Nyingtri Prefecture, Tibet, China has endowed the Lhatse County with a very beautiful natural scenery. Being at an elevation of 4,050 meters, it is a spectacular region with blue skies, snow-capped mountain peaks, and lush grasslands. The tourist places of interest include the Phuntsoling Monastery, Jipu Village, Jiatsora Mountain Pass (of the Mount Everest Reserve), Zeng Monastery and village, Qulong Qiangzi Monastery, Naga village, etc. But the highlight of this region is the Naisa Pagoda located in Naisa Village. This Pagoda is more than 1,200 years old. It has many ancient relics like the gold-carved boards, and 132 pocket-sized, artistically hand-painted Thangkas (exquisite painted pieces of silk cloth).
