The beautiful Jiulong Waterfall (Nine Dragons Waterfall) is located near the Qujing City in the Yunnan Province of China. The waterfall’s scenic area is spread over a length of 4Kms and looks like a streak of silver through the lush green mountains. The largest cascade has a drop of 56 meters into the valley and thunders down sounding like a thousand galloping horses! In the spring season (Feb-Mar) the rapeseed flowers are in full bloom and the valley is a blast of color. In September, during the autumn season, the local Buyi ethnic minority group celebrate a festival when they sing folk songs and dance.
