The Nanwan Monkey Island is a protected zone for the macaque species of monkeys in the Hainan province of China. It borders the Xincum harbor on its south and east and is actually a peninsula rather than a proper island. It can be reached via the longest transoceanic cable car that covers a distance of over 2100 meters. The entire experience of reaching the island and exploring it is unique and most enjoyable one. The ropeway gives you the most breathtaking view of the sea and the various mountains in the surrounding areas. With its abundant flora and fauna, the island is definitely a must-see place while you are in China.
