Located on the banks of the Moon Lake, Wuhan, China is the splendid Guqin Tai or Heptachord Terrace. It was built to honor the friendship between Zhong Ziqi and Yu Boya during the Song Dynasty. Legend says that Boya used to play music on the qin for Zhong. When Zhong died, Boya was so sad that he stopped playing music. Today, Guqin Tai is a very spectacular tourist attraction with beautiful water bodies on three sides. This site is a wonderful botanical garden with countless species of trees growing since ancient times. The site also has a wax museum and many inscribed steles and stone carvings worthy of a visit.
