Built during the Ming Dynasty, the Qingchuan Pavilion is located in Wuhan, China with the famous Yellow Crane Tower facing it. So the Pavilion and the Tower face each other with the Yangtze River flowing in between. Hence, the area is one of the most attractive one, where nature blends in with manmade structures to make the region picture-perfect. The Pavilion was constructed in honor of Yu, a great hero of the Ming era. Legend says that when Yu had managed to control the floods, his success was carved in stone which is called the Yu Tablet which was placed at the Pavilion. The Tablet has 77 Chinese characters and looks very impressive.
