Commonly called the Hanyang Mausoleum, the Hanyang Tomb and Museum lies just 20Kms from Xi’an, China. This is an underground exhibition that is situated in the tomb of the Han Dynasty Emperor Liu Qi. There are also tombs of the Empress, important officials, dynastic relations, and a few commoners. The mausoleum is spread over an area of 10 square kilometers. The courtyards around the tombs are designed like a miniature city with small statues of soldiers, servants, and animals. In contrast to the life-size Terracotta Army and Horses, these statues are like small dolls. Adding a splash of color to the tableau are dragons, dancing lions, and other mythological beings.
