If you visit Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, grab the opportunity to see the only Piano Museum in entire China. The museum opened its doors to visitors in 2000. It is located in the beautiful Shuzhuang Garden and offers a collection of pianos and piano lamps from various countries of the world.
The entire collection was donated to the museum by Hu Youyi, a patriotic Chinese who now lives in Australia. Those that are fans of this musical instrument will appreciate models made in the United States in the 19th century and other unique piano specimens that you can find here.
