Lizhuang Old Town

Located about 19Kms from Yibin City, Sichuan Province, China is the beautiful Lizhuang Old Town. This town has a long history of prosperity. During the Han Dynasty, it was a prominent fishing village. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was a major trading center. It also played an important role during the Japanese War. The town still has the Ming and Qing style buildings, temples, ancestral pavilions, courtyards, landscaped gardens, blue-stone-paved ancient lanes, etc. Tourist attractions in the town include the Xizi Lane, Lou Xuan Temple, Hundred Crane Windows, and the Yuwang Temple. The local delicacies of white pork and smoked-noodles are definitely worth a try.
