Xinwen County Stone Cave Forest

Located near Yibin City, Sichuan Province, China is a spectacular scenic spot called the Xinwen County Stone Cave Forest. It is well-known for its colorful karst landforms which date back as far as 250 to 490 million years. There are rich fossils of archaea, carbonates, and sedimentations that have the most fantastic colors. The Stone Cave Forest is blessed with magnificent rock faces, interconnected caves, canyons, waterfalls, picturesque lakes, and more. Some of the scenic spots include the Sinkhole, Tianquan Cave, and the Rock Sea. The Bo and the Miao ethnic minority groups have lived here since ancient times in harmony with nature.
