Lying along the route of the Yangtze River Cruise in China is the Three Gorges region. One of the most gorgeous sections is the 46Kms-long Wu Gorge, which is located in the Hubei Province, between the Yichang and Chongqing Counties. The most enchanting attractions in the Gorge are located in the Wu Shan Scenic Area like mountain peaks, colorful karst (made up of dolomite, limestone, gypsum) rock formations, dense primeval forests, flowering trees, natural grottoes, lakes, fauna, ethnic villages, amusement parks, ancient monuments and pavilions, etc. Bungee jumping and trekking are the popular tourist activities and cable cars are also available for sightseeing.
