Tangkor (Tangke)

Aba Prefecture, China

The Yellow River is the second largest river in China after the Yangtze. As it flows in the easterly direction towards the Bohai Sea, the White River joins it at Tangkor (Tangke) in the Ngawa Tibetan Prefecture, China forming a fantastic ā€œSā€ shape. This is also known as the First Bend of Yellow River and is flanked by the Sichuan Province on one bank and the Gansu Province on the other bank. You can see lush grasslands right up to the horizon, making it a perfect site for picnickers, photographers, naturalists, and tourists. Horse riding is also another pleasurable activity in this region.
