Located in the Mugecuo Scenic Area in the Garze Tibetan Prefecture, Sichuan Province of China is the Erdao Hot Spring. This is a well-developed tourist attraction that is suitable for bathing as the temperatures remain steady at 40-42 degrees Celsius. The springs contain many minerals that have a curative and rejuvenating effect so the bathing area is in great demand. The grounds cover a vast area that is divided into community springs as well as private springs. Most tourists take a break here after a hectic time of sightseeing and trekking in the nearby mountainous scenic areas. The most popular spot is the “sauna” area.
