The Hohhot Five-Pagoda Temple (Wuta Si) in Inner Mongolia, is a unique site. It is a 16M high structure that is made up of the base, the seat, and then the five dagobas. The seat is inlaid inscriptions from the Diamond Sutra that are written in three languages, namely Mongolian, Sanskrit, and Tibetan. The upper part supports gold-plated statues of the Buddha. On one wall is a painted astronomical map that is labelled in Mongolian. The outer structured of the pagoda as beautiful yellow and green glazed tiles making the building look very attractive.
