Despite being a young institution, opened in 2005, Ningbo Museum of Art is one of the precious contemporary Chinese art museums. Artworks from the modern era, as well as the best contemporary pieces are exhibited, protected and researched in this institution. Calligraphy, paintings, fine arts, installations and many other interesting exhibitions can be explored at 122 Renming Road, Ningbo. The Museum is well-connected with all parts of Ningbo. The museum is open for the visitors between 9 AM and 5 PM, from Tuesday to Sunday. Visit to the Ningbo Museum of Art is free of charge.
