Tianyi Pavilion is an invaluable historic site in Ningbo City. Situated next to the beautiful Ming Lake, the Tianyi Pavilion represents both cultural and scenic value for the visitors. Tianyi Pavilion is the oldest privately-held library in whole China. 1561, during the reign of the Ming Dynasty, Fan Qin built this beautiful library. More than 300,000 volumes are in possession of this amazing institution. Rare books, manuscripts and very old books can be found in this historic, cultural and scientific Pearl of Ningbo. Entrance ticket costs 30 CNY and the destination is well-connected with the city center by bus.
