China National Tea Museum

Situated in Hangzhou, China the China National Tea Museum was established in 1991. Covering a vast area of 2,000 square meters and with a constructed area of 3,500 square meters, it is one of the most unique tourist attractions in China. The exhibition area has six large halls, namely the Tea History, Tea Properties, Tea Kaleidoscope, Tea Friendship, Tea Sets, and the Tea Customs Halls. Together, the halls showcase the history of tea in China, the impact of tea on the lives of the ethnic minority groups, types of teas, tea processing, and tea ceremonies.
