The Yunnan Museum of Minority Nationalities, Kunming, China occupies an immense area of 130,000 square meters. It has a record collection of more than 40,000 sets of ancient relics that belonged to the ethnic minorities. Spread over 16 exhibition halls, it showcases a comprehensive collection of folk art, clothing, ancient books, handicrafts, stonework, items of religious importance, tools and implements, utensils, daily use items, etc. The beautiful exhibits offer visitors a glimpse into the thriving historical, artistic, and scientific world of the ancient minority tribes in the Yunnan Province of China. The Museum also provides a base for co-curricular inter-school activities for the different ethnicities.
