The Oktoberfest in Munich is not the only popular beer festival in the world. In fact, China has an entire area that is dedicated to beer and has its own annual beer festival. The Qingdao International Beer City is famous for its Qingdao Beer Festival that starts in the second weekend of August and goes on for 16 days. The Qingdao festival has participation from China and other parts of the world and you could taste at least 100 brands. The festival has other events like carnival, parades, games, tasting ceremonies, drinking contests, interactive performances, music, amusement parks, trade fairs, gala performances, and even bikini catwalks.
