The 6,000 square meters expanse of the Autumn Moon Over the Peaceful Lake Pavilion is considered a very romantic site since the ancient Song Dynasty. Although the scenic area is vast, today the name denotes the Pavilion from where the lake can be seen. The best season to visit this attraction is in the autumn season when the moon’s reflection on the surface of lake is almost magical. Sitting at a window of the Pavilion’s building facing the lake, you can get a panoramic view of the scenic area with its mountains, willow trees, blooming seasonal flowers, and the romantic moon with its reflection.
