Great Wall of China at Jiankou

The Jiankou Great Wall is considered the most treacherous and wildest sections of the Great Wall of China. Yet, it is the most photographed section because of its unusual construction and the surrounding spectacular natural beauty. The Jiankou peak is shaped like an arrow and looks tall and splendid against the clear skies. The wall has been built with locally available materials like dolomite and white rocks. This section of the Great Wall can be seen from afar because of its stark white appearance. Tourists will find many beautiful spots along this stretch of the Wall. But the most popular ones are the Nine Eye Tower, Beijing Knot, Sky Stair, Jiankou Spot, and the Zhengbei Tower.
