Situated 80Kms from Beijing City, China and constructed during the Ming Dynasty is the easiest gradient of the Great Wall of China at Jinshanling. The hike from Jinshanling (east) to Simatai (west) is a popular tourist activity not only because it is easier but also because the Wall has remained intact at this point. It still has the full defense system, which includes the main barrier walls, the battlement walls, 5 passes, the gun placement platforms, the shooting holes, 67 watchtowers, the horse-blocking walls, 3 beacon towers, and more.
