Huashi Mosque

Considered one of the four biggest mosques in Beijing, the Huashi Mosque has a history of over 500 years. The construction was started in 1415 during the Ming Dynasty. But actually, it reflects the Qing Dynasty style of architectural grandeur. It has a prayer hall, the stele pavilion, and the minarets that are typical of Islamic structures. The inner walls of the prayer hall have teachings from the Quran engraved in them that are really worth seeing. The complex has other building too, like the Classics Room, Jinggutang Hall, and the Xunyue Platform. There is the Imperial Edict Pavilion opposite the main prayer hall which contains Emperor Yongzheng's Stone Tablet.
